The Festival hosts the world premiere of La Passione di Gesù by Leonardo García Alarcón. Faithful among the faithful, the Argentinian conductor conducts the oratorio he designed and composed especially for the acoustics of the Abbey Church of Ambronay, which he knows so well. 6 soloists, 21 singers, 25 instrumentalists give life to this work of extraordinary dimensions. A colossal and resolutely modern Passion, a hymn to the beauty and knowledge of women.
