"A world creation in Dunkirk! The co(opera)tive, a production collective of which Le Bateau Feu is a part, has commissioned an opera from the composer Othman Louati. It is the adaptation of the famous film by Wim Wenders, Les Ailes du désir. The story? That of two angels who observe humans living in Berlin, before the fall of the wall. One of them falls in love with a young acrobat and decides to renounce immortality. Thirteen musicians in the orchestra pit, seven singers and six puppeteers on stage perform this magnificent love story..."
