From 8 August to 6 September 2025, Rigoletto returns to the Verona Arena in a reconstruction of the historic staging designed in 1928 by Ettore Fagiuoli, architect and first set designer of the Amphitheatre (with scenes by Raffaele Del Savio).

The musical direction of the production is entrusted to conductor Michele Spotti (having already conducted Turandot in 2024), who heads the artistic ensembles and the great voices of the Arena. On stage, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Luca Salsi and Youngjun Park share the title role. Sopranos Nadine Sierra, Erin Morley and Rosa Feola sing Gilda, seduced by the Duke of Mantua, played by Samoan tenor Pene Pati (making his Arena debut), alternating with Mexican tenor Galeano Salas. The cast is completed, as is often the case at the Verona Arena Festival, by established performers and young international hopefuls.
