"A phantasmagorical transfiguration of a true episode of the Collaboration. For ages 12 and up.

Autumn 1941: five French literary celebrities are invited by the Nazi regime to the Weimar Writers' Congress. The goal of this demonic pact? To bewitch them so that, upon returning home, they will preach the good word of the totalitarian order. Their tragicomic journey will gradually remove the mask of a dizzying nihilism. Bruno Mantovani's new opera, with a libretto crafted by Dorian Astor, addresses the burning subject of the pitfalls of blind compromise and explores a universe of musical and poetic intensity. For this world premiere, the subtle reading of director Marie Lambert-Le Bihan and a top-notch cast under the expert direction of Pascal Rophé contribute to the event."
