Description
Reprise de la production que Peter Gelb avait choisi pour inaugurer son mandat à la tête du Metropolitan Opera de New York en 2006. Réalisateur multi-oscarisé pour Le Patient anglais, Anthony Minghella y signe une mise en scène tout en retenue et en pudeur, reprise par son épouse Carolyn Choa à sa mort en 2008. La production a depuis été reprise plusieurs fois, comme au Metropolitan en 2014, 2016, 2017-2018, ou 2019-2020.
