"Discover the heritage of southern Italy, between scholarly and popular music. It was while discovering the Canzone di Cecilia that Leonardo García Alarcón, composer and essential conductor of the international baroque scene, imagined this opera imaginary. Around the Calabrian melody are intertwined works by great composers, such as Sigismondo d'India or Alessandro Scarlatti, with pieces handed down for centuries by oral tradition. Cappella Mediterranea unveils here a program whose infallible musicality and warm tones are exemplary. A pure moment of poetry and emotion!"
