Creation.

"Tancrède sees a Moorish woman at the edge of a watering hole. He immediately falls in love with her. Her name is Clorinde and she is a formidable warrior. He seeks her out in every battle, going so far as to try to protect her , until the day when Clorinde changes her armor, wanting to go unnoticed, Tancred does not recognize her and wounds her to death, believing she is facing an unknown warrior.
Taking up the story of Tancrède and Clorinde written into a poem at the end of the 16th century by Torquato Tasso in Jerusalem Delivered, Amour à mort is located at the crossroads of the madrigal, the opera and the interlude. The stories mingle and the orchestra participates in the plot. The instrumental works conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón and the improvisations echo the sound universe of to support the slightest poetic inflections of human passions, states of war, calm and love."
