"Created at the initiative of the artist's family and friends, the Jodie Devos Fund honors her memory by preserving her story so that her message continues to inspire future generations. True to the artist's commitment to opening the doors of the world of opera to as many people as possible, the Jodie Devos Fund aims to perpetuate this vision by democratizing operatic art for diverse audiences and supporting young talents in their artistic journey.

Throughout her career, Jodie Devos forged a strong bond with the public and the entire team at the Royal Opera of Wallonia-Liège. It is only natural that our institution should join this noble initiative by hosting the first edition of the Jodie Devos Fund Gala Concert. During this evening, numerous Belgian and international artists will perform and pay tribute to the artist and the great operatic moments shared with her. Accompanied by the Orchestra and Choir of the Royal Opera of Wallonia-Liège, these high-flying performers will perform in an exceptional program showcasing the repertoire in which Jodie Devos excelled: Verdi, Thomas, Donizetti, Mozart, Auber, Gounod, Offenbach, and Delibes".

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Jodie Devos Fund.
