"It's been ten years since we last saw The Magic Flute in Nantes and Angers! Mozart's ultimate masterpiece is this time staged by Mathieu Bauer, who is very keen to stay in the spirit of the tale and therefore of a certain naivety.

After all, what Pamina and Tamino, Papageno and Papagena are going through is a bit beyond these still very tender young people. The magician Sarastro will therefore take them by the hand and will hold ours, too, to make us go through trials that will take the form of a ride on a ghost train in a funfair. The brilliant cast of this brand new production is directed by Nicolas Ellis, the new musical director of the Orchestre National de Bretagne."
