"This season, the Tours Opera continues its partnership with the prestigious Teatro alla Scala Academy in Milan, under the direction of one of its laureates, Clelia Cafiero. Five soloists will take turns at the helm during this gala dedicated to the master of Italian Romantic opera, Giuseppe Verdi. Drawing inspiration from the plays of William Shakespeare, Alexandre Dumas fils, and Victor Hugo, he captivated audiences beyond the borders of the Italian peninsula. From the demand for infinite freedom in La Traviata to the masterful quartet in Rigoletto, all the nuances of will and devotion will be explored during this concert. Violetta and Alfredo, Aida and Radamès, Leonora and Alvaro… Verdi's tormented protagonists will all be present, embodied by the finest of Milan's La Scala Academy."
