World premiere of Jean-Marie Machado's first opera

A highlight at the heart of Breton legends

Jean-Marie Machado is a pianist and composer with a prolific career, well known on both the jazz and classical music scenes. He composes for traditional song, chanson, chamber music and dance. With La Falaise des lendemains, which brings together 26 artists, musicians and opera singers on stage, he has written his first opera.

Opera sung in French, English and Breton, with French surtitles.
Running time: 1 hour 45 minutes, no intermission
Ages 12 and up

A video recording of the production (by CRÉA, Centre de ressources et d'études audiovisuelles de l'Université Rennes 2) will be broadcast live on the Opéra de Rennes website and rebroadcast on the L'Aire d'U website on Friday 8 November.
