Co-production with Bru Zane France, Palazzetto Bru Zane, Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Opéra de Limoges, Opéra de Tours, and Opéra de Rouen Normandie from where we reported in French in 2021.
"Eclectic in his choices, the couturier Christian Lacroix had not yet tried his hand at staging an operatic show: this was achieved with La Vie parisienne where he transcended the dress codes of the Second Empire to better adapt them up to date. This new version restored by the Palazzetto Bru Zane finally allows you to discover the original score: what a joy to hear it with its five acts intact, full of new tunes and restoring coherence to the whole."
