"The curious mind of Leonardo García-Alarcón never ceases to seek new ways to explore the baroque repertoire. Here he delivers a pastiche of works by two composers he admires equally: Bach and Handel. This dialogue/duel between two icons of the baroque is illustrated through a patchwork program where excerpts from their most famous works mirror each other. The Argentinian conductor enjoys bringing together melodic themes here, texts there, and quite simply, finally bringing together two giants."
