"Countertenor Carlo Vistoli has become, since his discovery by Anne Blanchard at the Renata Tebaldi Competition in San Marino, one of the most brilliant countertenors of the new generation and the privileged partner of the diva Cecilia Bartoli.
Antonio Bernacchi, singer and teacher, was one of the most famous and revered castrati of the 18th century. Among his students were Farinelli (during 1727) and the tenor Anton Raaf.

During his career, he had the opportunity to collaborate with major composers such as Georg Friedrich Handel, of whom Carlo will perform two famous arias "Furibondo spira il vento et disperi peregrino" (excerpt from Partenope) as well as Alessandro Scarlatti, of whom he will perform “Vago sei, volto amoroso” (excerpt from Griselda). He also collaborated with all the opera composers of his generation, such as Pollarolo, Schiassi, Predieri and Torri.

The program for this concert paints a portrait of this incredible artist, a great virtuoso but also of great expressiveness through his most emblematic roles."
