In 2024, the centenary of the death of Giacomo Puccini will be commemorated and the Chorégies d'Orange will pay tribute to the composer with what is undoubtedly one of his most famous works, Tosca, given in concert version in the impressive setting of the Théâtre Antique d'Orange. For the occasion, the festival brings together a cast that is particularly popular with festival-goers: Aleksandra Kurzak in the title role, alongside Roberto Alagna as Mario Cavaradossi and Bryn Terfel as the infamous Baron Scarpia.

The evening is under the musical direction of conductor Clelia Cafiero (who already conducted the Festival's Carmen in 2023), leading the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice and the Chorus of the Opéra Grand Avignon and the Chorégies.
