"Eleven years after Pierre Boulez's last appearance at the Théâtre, his memory is still strong: whether at the head of the Orchestre de Paris, the Wiener, the LSO, his intercontemporain, as a composer or simply as a spectator, an essential part of the legacy of this essential figure of the second half of the 20th and early 21st century can be found on Avenue Montaigne. For this centenary, Les Siècles have chosen to perform the iconic Pli selon Pli, Portrait de Mallarmé, created in 1958. And opposite, Debussy, Mallarmé again with Trois poèmes de Stéphane Mallarmé in an arrangement by Heinz Holliger, and La Mer, two classics for which Les Siècles will bring out gut strings and period winds to restore all their original colours."

Sabine Devieilhe being obliged to cancel her appearance, she is replaced by the French soprano Sarah Aristidou.
