New production, straddling the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons, played in the framework of the Ring 2020 with Die Walküre (The Valkyrie), Siegfried and Götterdämmerung (Twilight of the Gods).

Two additional dates are scheduled for November 23 and 30, only available as part of the Ring Festival.

Richard Wagner's Tetralogy returns to the stage of the Opéra Bastille in a new production entrusted to the director Calixto Bieito, with Philippe Jordan at the head of the Opéra Orchestra. Two important names of the lyrical world to federate the singers, musicians and all the trades of the house around what was the most flamboyant enterprise of the life of the composer-playwright. A project beyond norm that a theater and its actors are always approaching with a particular implication. Punctuating the year 2020 with the spring of the Rhinegold and the Valkyrie followed by Siegfried and the Twilight of the gods in autumn, the cycle will be given in full in the form of a festival on the occasion of two series of performances that will conclude a year of musical, theatrical and human adventures.
