For its 2025 edition, the Chorégies d'Orange opera festival is staging a concert version of Verdi's La forza del destino (on 20 July from 9.30pm) on the stage of the Théâtre antique. Conducted by Daniele Rustioni and his Opéra de Lyon orchestra, the production features a large cast led by Anna Pirozzi and Brian Jagde, both particularly experienced in the work, alongside Ekaterina Semenchuk, the Mongolian baritone Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar, Ambrogio Maestri and Michele Pertusi.
